Promotional Materials for "The Spirits Speak"

A 5.5” x 8.5” one-sided handbill and a 2.5” x 7” souvenir ticket I created for “The Spirits Speak” , a recreation of an late 19th-century, Victorian-style seance, that employs many of the tricks and techniques originally used by practitioners of spiritualism. The show was developed and produced by the Essex National Historical Commission, and is designed to not only entertain, but teach some of the history of the local Spiritualist movement that was very popular from the post-Civil War era until the early 20th-century The handbill and ticket are both designed in a late 19th-century style, to stand out and generate attention. The handbill to be handed out on the street, and the ticket to patrons of the show. Both were offset printed in 2-color instead of 4/C process to maintain the vibrancy of the colors.

Map Guide for the House of Seven Gables

A recently completed project for the House of Seven Gables in Salem, MA. Visitors
to the Gables had trouble orienting themselves to the museum campus or knowing what was where. Working with the marketing manager, I developed an 8.5”x11”, 2-­‐sided illustrated, interpretive map that shows the entire campus and helps improve the guests experience. It is being translated into seven other languages and is easily update-able. Originally conceived as a tri-fold brochure, after consulting with a local printer, the map was printed on a heavy paper and bound into a pad so they are easy to tear-off at a greatly reduced the overall cost.

Print materials designed for the Highrock Northshore Church's vacation bible school program. They included a 24" x 72" exterior banner, an 11"x 17" poster and a 4" x 6" 2-sided postcard in both English and Spanish versions.

Lost Museum Logo

A recently completed logo project for a new Halloween attraction located in the basement of the Gallows Hill Theater on Lynde Street. Opening in October of 2016, the 3,500 square feet experience is one of the largest attractions in Salem.

Engaging Nutrition Logo

A new logo for Engaging Nutrition of Marblehead. Engaging Nutrition is the business ofnutritionist Laina DeLoid, who wanted to branch of of her main brand and logo and add a new logo that would target children's nutrition, which is one of the largest parts of her business,

I took the existing logo, and keeping the green as a base, changed the logomark to a pinwheel, used a more kid-friendly font, and added in bright orange as an accent color.

House of Seven Gables Logo Redesign

Recently did a redesign of the House of Seven Gables logomark. The original logomark was a pen and ink rendering of the house from approximately this view. It had not been updated in decades, and was basically unusable in print because of it's size and complexity. it was also only available as a lo-rez raster image. I redrew the house as a vector and produced both a one-color and 8-color version incorporating the gables existing wordmark. It can now be used in print and on premium items at almost any size. Making an old logo useful again!
